OMG! I agree with what you say, it does look like trees? WTH! What are they hiding from us?
The best thing to do is analyse calmly the information given by the video. There are three things that can be analyzed. the pattern of these structures, their size and their distribution. Then these data should be compared by a geologist and a biologist for example. What is clearly strange is the stuctures you see when you focus on them. This "filamentous" shape and the repetitive structures suggest, from my point of view, that this is difficultly a geological formation. Moreover the distribution of these strange structures seems not be random. It's like they are growing in some kind of colonies. Nevertheless, I'm not sure of anything. Maybe this is a strange formation from a geological point of view. We do not know from which region this video was taken and the quality (as always in these cases) is quite limited.
First, this would be an excellent explanation for why large swathes of Mars appear to change color with the seasons, as is evidenced even by pictures from outer space. Looking down you can see these are either trees or large bushes- I don't know the scale here. anyway, you can easily see the main stalk of the plant and it's smaller offshoots (branches) and the sparse foliage of those beanches. Funny how we always land in deserted areas thousands of miles away from such interesting stuff. I saw this evidence years ago and it is obviously plant life to me. You can even detect shapes in some shadowing.

This accounts for large swathes of Mars changing color with the seasons- getting darker and lighter. Not knowing the scale these could either be trees or large bushes. I tend to go with trees. Funny how our landers and rovers never seem to find this stuff after having been there for years now. Don't rely of NASA for anything definite. They're pulling a Moses and keeping our exploration landers puttering around in desert areas and avoiding the truly interesting anomalies and things of interest. These aren't the actions of an agency truly interested in exploration, which is why I have adopted the belief that NASA is a scam meant for the public's eyes, while we must have some secret agency using modern craft (not rockets) for REAL space exploration. But that is just me. "Conspiracy theorist blah blah.. Interesting how many conspiracy theories end up being the exact truth but people cannot bring themselves to face it. Like I said, that is just me, but my opinion comes from decades of observation of NASA's inaction and non-sensical action..and duplicity.
